This is my amateur video taken in between breaks while filming a fishing show for OLN near Prince Rupert B.C. Canada.
We caught over 300 Ling Cod, many Red Snappers a few Halibut. The wildlife was fantastic! Many Killer Whales, Bald Eagles and Huge Octopus.

This set of Aurora Borealis Northern Lights photos were taken by myself near Terrace BC Canada on the 3rd and 4th day after an X-17 solar flare on Sept/07/2005.
It was the 4th largest solar flare on record.

Close-ups were taken through a 5mm Pentax SMC XW-5 eyepiece. The camera doesn't do justice to what you see live at the eyepiece, but I hope you still like the view...

The aurora borealis or (Northern Lights) is not often seen on video in real time. This is to show what these wonders actually look like. No time-lapse here, just live raw video of natures best free light show on earth.

My rant on the idiotic, and dangerous drivers here in Terrace BC. Instead of just sitting in front of a camera ranting about how bad drivers are, I am going to show instead a small example of what I mean...
Q: The reason drivers are so bad?
A: Very little police enforcement.
-There are only "7" traffic police officers to cover all of northwest B.C. - Atlin, Dease Lake, Stewart, New Hazelton's, Kitwanga, Terrace, Kitimat, Prince Rupert and Queen Charlotte Islands. This is beyond ridiculous. 7 officers is not enough to even cover Terrace or Prince Rupert.
"Everyone does it, so it's OK" seems to be the normal attitude of most drivers. Speeding, running red lights, stop signs, not using an indicator correctly has become a normal thing to do. People, how difficult is it to use a signal light BEFORE you make a turn? (and I don't mean 10 feet before)
How about coming to a FULL STOP at a stop sign...is it really that difficult? Do you think you are saving gas? Well your not! because you most likely floor it anyway when you see no-one is coming.
1 out of 4 drivers you see here will be talking on the phone, eating, drinking or have a dog on one arm hanging out the window. Over 50% of the drivers here speed, don't use a turn signal or come to a complete stop at stop signs.
I am not claiming to be "a better driver than everyone else" Accidents can happen to anyone, but at least I obey the simple rules, I don't drive with things in my hand(s) and I pay attention at all times. This means what is in front of me and behind (for those that don't know what a mirror is for)
Keep it up people and remember when you drive to smile! -I have lot's of film and time.

The Skeena river this year has the potential to cause massive flooding. With the mountain snowpack 50% above normal, a heavy rain or warm weather could cause even more damage.
Sorry I didn't get much footage of the houses that were flooded. Police would not let anyone in.
The next 2 weeks I'll have my fingers crossed that we get a slow melt and little rain. 2 more feet and one of my buildings would have been flooded.
